Ramayana Quiz – Privacy Policy
Ramayana Quiz (“the app”) is a quiz game about Valmiki’s Ramayana, available in English, Hindi and Telugu. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
1. No account, no personal details collected by us
The app has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for, collect or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and we do not run our own servers that receive data from the app.
2. Game progress stays on your device
Your progress — completed modules, quiz scores, coins, the day streak and your chosen language — is saved only on your device. It is not sent to us. If you use Android’s backup, the system may include this game data in your device backup to your Google account, under Google’s own policies. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads (banner, full-screen and optional “watch an ad” rewards) provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process, on Google’s behalf:
- your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers,
- approximate location derived from your IP address,
- information about your device (model, operating system, language) and app interactions with ads,
- diagnostic and performance information.
This information is used to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and measure performance; depending on your choices it may be used to personalise ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
4. Your consent choices (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google’s consent form before any ads are requested, so you can choose how your data is used for advertising. You can change your choice at any time from the app’s menu → Privacy settings.
5. Features that use other apps
- Share the app opens your phone’s share sheet; what you share and with whom is up to you and the app you choose.
- Leave a rating opens the Google Play Store.
- Write to us opens your email app. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write (the draft includes the app and Android version to help us answer). We use it only to reply and improve the app, and we don’t share it.
6. Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security and retention
Game data stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data processed by Google AdMob is kept according to Google’s policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to reply.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
